Getting Help with your Goals
Getting Yourself to Commit to Achieving Your Goal
I’d like to help you overcome the challenges standing between you and achieving your goals.
I’ll be letting you know as soon as I’ve developed more resources focused on getting yourself to commit to achieving your goal.
In the meantime, my immediate recommendation for you is:
-
Check out page 3 of your SMARTER Goals Guide, focused on the main reasons for setting your goal to begin with. No one is going to force you to achieve any life goals, so the motivation must come from you. The How to Talk Yourself into Doing Anything Mini Lesson #4 could be helpful for you to review.
-
It’s human nature to achieve and maintain a certain level of comfort in life. The problem is, if you are already somewhat comfortable, the motivation to work at getting a bit more comfortable may be lacking.
-
I recommend focusing on the pain you’ll experience eventually if you don’t take steps to improve your life soon, since avoiding discomfort is something we are very motivated to do. It’s also advisable to surround yourself with ambitious people that are committed, as their influence will run off on you.
If you have any specific questions you’d like answered, or anything you need clarification on, let’s connect in the Facebook Group and I’ll be more than happy to help you as much as I can.
